Magnotta Pinot Gris – $6.50/gl, $19.00/½l, $28.50/btl
"Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc are natural mutations of the blue-black (red) Pinot Noir grape of Burgundy. When ripe, Pinot Gris berries turn grayish pink to pink, while Pinot Blanc berries go from green to golden yellow. Despite sharing the same genetic material, the two white ‘Pinots’ are quite unique when turned into wine. Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris skins contain very little natural pigmentation. They are, therefore, always white wine grapes. Depending on where Pinot Gris or Pinot Blanc grapes are cultivated, the resulting wines are produced in a multitude of styles. The modern trend leans toward the production of aromatic, light to medium-bodied wines which are seldom barrel aged." — Magnotta.com

(Non-VQA) Henkell Troken, Mimosa (Misc.) – $9.95
"This dry, fully matured sparkling wine owes its elegant character to a unique Cuvée of excellent wines originating from such classic grape varieties as French Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Blanc de Noir from French Pinot Noir and Chenin from Saumur. Henkell Trocken sparkles with vivacious and long lasting effervescence. Thanks to the play of greenish reflections, the delicate light amber colour gains lively, expressive nuancing. The taste is fresh, tingling, with a lingering finish, while a subtle fragrance suggestive of tropical fruit develops in the bouquet. The finely blended, harmonious composition makes Henkell Trocken a well-balanced, consummate taste experience.." — Henkell.de
